General Description
Note this is sold as a Kit with the CIC CW 4002
A true two component white acrylic polyurethane primer. Designed to be used in interior applications where extreme chemical and moisture resistance is required. Unlike most competitive polyurethanes this is not a polyurethane dispersion/modified acrylic topcoat. Requires a 4:1 mix with CW-4002 Hardener (based on aliphatic isocyanate) to provide a fully crosslinked film.

Application
Application Method
May be sprayed with conventional, airless, and air assisted-airless.
Mixing Instructions
Mix 4:1 with CW-4002 Hardener under agitation. May be mixed with water as needed. Pot-Life 1.5-2 hours.
Substrate preparation
The surface must be clean, dry and free of grease, oil, dirt, fingerprints and any other contamination to ensure proper adhesion. Remove any loose or peeling paint. Sand basecoat with 320-400 grit sandpaper. When used as a sealer, use 220-320 grit sandpaper between coats. May be applied over acrylic, nitrocellulose and UV Basecoat. Test for adhesion and compatibility before full scale application.
Application Instructions
IMPORTANT:
Mix well using a power agitator prior to application. Upon application, the temperature of the product, substrate, and coating should be above 50°F. Apply up to 3 coats, allowing enough drying time between coats.
Coverage
Approx. 758 square feet per gallon at 1 dry mil. @ 100% transfer efficiency. Actual coverage may vary depending on application technique, equipment, and weather conditions.
